Families Can Spend A Fun “Night At The Museum”
At The World Golf Hall Of Fame Imax® Theater

Film Sequel to be released May 22; Advance Tickets Currently on Sale

St. Augustine, Fla. (May 12, 2009) – “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” will open Friday, May 22 on the largest IMAX screen in Northeast Florida at the 2D World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX® Theater.  The theater will show “Night at the Museum” five times daily for the film’s first two weeks and will run the film through June 23.  Tickets for the special engagement are currently available on www.wgv.com or in the IMAX Theater box office.

The film brings to life the Smithsonian Institution, which houses the world’s largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart flew on her non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone’s rap sheet and mug shot to Dorothy’s ruby red slippers and Archie Bunker’s lounge chair. No major film has ever shot inside the Smithsonian in Washington…until “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.”

In the film, it’s a new “Night” and “Museum” for Security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) who infiltrates the Smithsonian Institute in order to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan), who have been shipped to the museum by mistake.  Stiller is joined by several other stars from the original film including Robin Williams again riding into history as Teddy Roosevelt, as well as new characters from history—including Amy Adams as famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart, Hank Azaria as villainous Egyptian pharaoh Kahmunrah, Christopher Guest as Russian tyrant Ivan the Terrible and Alain Chabat as Napoleon.

The film is rated PG for mild action and brief language and runs approximately one hour and 45 minutes.

Tickets to the special engagement of “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” at the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater are $13 for adults, $12 for military, seniors and students at $9 for children ages three through 12.  Matinee pricing (Monday through Friday before 5 p.m.) is $9 for all guests.

The World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater also will feature additional blockbuster films in Summer 2009 including Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The 2D World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX® Theater offers unique movies and entertainment enhanced by state-of-the-art, specially-designed cinematic technology.  Located at World Golf Village, the 300-seat IMAX Theater is the largest IMAX screen in Northeast Florida and houses an 80-foot-wide by six-story-high screen to show a variety of entertaining and educational movies throughout the year.  The World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX® Theater is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
