World Golf Hall of Fame Speaker Series: African-American History Month

Join us at the Hall of Fame for a special Speaker Series celebrating African-American History Month. The event features a panel discussion with Lee Elder, the first African-American to play in the Masters Tournament in 1975; Pete McDaniel, freelance golf writer who collaborated with Tiger Woods on instruction and feature articles; and Wendell Haskins, golf executive and former Senior Director of Diversity with the PGA of America.

During your visit, be sure to stop by the Honoring the Legacy exhibit as it celebrates the achievements of African-Americans in the game of golf. The event will begin on Saturday, February 24th at 11AM. The event is included in Museum admission.
