As a 501 (c)(3), the World Golf Hall of Fame honors the history of the game by preserving the legacies of the world's greatest players and contributors.

The Hall of Fame invites everyone who cares about the game, its past, present, and future, to become involved in forwarding the mission through a tax-deductible contribution. A major or planned gift will make a significant impact, ensuring the game's legacies remain alive for generations to come.

Initiatives available for support:

• Collection - the discovery and acquisition of artifacts, works of art, and photographs significant to the rich history of golf and Hall of Fame members
• Preservation - the work of preserving and documenting the valuable world-class collection
• Education - the focus on telling the stories of the unique sport of golf and its legacy through the development of permanent and temporary exhibitions in the museum. Each interpretive creation honors those who have made the most exceptional contributions to the game
• Outreach - exporting the museums compelling stories and experience through top quality traveling exhibitions, the Hall of Fame web site, and special events

Honoring the Game Gifts - Levels of Support

*World Golf Hall of Fame Trustees are part of an elite group comprised of individuals and organizations who share a profound and enduring passion for preserving the history and values for the game. This group enjoys the annual Trustee outings at world-class golf venues and many other unique access opportunities.

The most common forms of gifts and pledges are outright gifts of cash and securities, but there are other types of assets that may be donated, as well as planned giving options that may have favorable financial and tax benefits. The World Golf Hall of Fame Development Team is available to discuss giving options with your legal and financial advisors.

Gifts in Memory or Celebration

Both memorial and celebration gifts to the Hall of Fame can accomplish multiple goals. They can celebrate a personal milestone like an anniversary or retirement, or honor and commemorate a loved one who loved the game while furthering the museum's mission to honor the game of golf through the stories of its members.
Memorial and celebration gifts can be made on-line and allows the donor to acknowledge the name of the person being honored during the transaction process. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to you and the person you are honoring (or a designee) following your donation.
