Educational Programs

The World Golf Hall of Fame currently offers two free education programs that educators can use in their classrooms. Northeast Florida teachers are encouraged to also book a fieldtrip to the Hall of Fame to experience its Bob Hope exhibit or see a Science of Golf demonstration at the museum. We look forward to teachers who will be seeing the "Bob Hope: An American Treasure" traveling exhibit at a museum in their local area to see how these programs can be used as part of their teaching materials.

Bob Hope: An American Treasure

This free downloadable educational program developed by KidsScoop is a great accompaniment to the Hall's "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory" exhibit on display in the museum in St. Augustine and our newest traveling exhibit, "Bob Hope: An American Treasure." Teachers can use this program for grades 4-8 in conjunction with a field trip or as a supplement to lessons on 20th century history and social studies curriculum. View the study guide here.

To book a field trip, call 904-940-4010 or click here for more information.

The Science of Golf presented by Shell Oil Company

The Science of Golf I and II are educational programs designed for children in an effort to engage, inform and connect them with the game of golf using principles of physics and earth science. The Hall of Fame offers an interactive experience at the museum for visiting groups and downloadable study guides for use in the classroom. More on the opportunities available through the Science of Golf.
