World Golf Village will celebrate Independence Day with
annual Community Fireworks show
July 3 festivities include fireworks, "Spider-Man" IMAX premiere and more

St. Augustine, Fla. (June 22, 2012) - Join one of the largest fireworks displays in Northeast Florida as the World Golf Village celebrates Independence Day on Tuesday, July 3, with its annual Community Fireworks. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and find a spot around the Walk of Champions to take in the grand fireworks show.

Parking is limited and a minimal parking fee will be required for entry to the event. There will be concessions around the Walk of Champions for the event; coolers are not permitted. The fireworks are estimated to start at nightfall and are subject to weather conditions.

Guests will be able to enjoy the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum, which will be open until 6 p.m., along with its 18-hole natural-grass putting green.

As part of the celebration, the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will be presenting two showings of "The Amazing Spider-Man: An IMAX 3D Experience" which also opens on July 3. The evening shows will be at 7:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. for guests who want to see the movie before or after the fireworks. The World Golf Village Renaissance Resort and Beach Club will also be hosting "RED, WHITE AND BOOM!" from 6:45-10:45 p.m. Enjoy a VIP dinner and show by renowned singing group VoicePlay in the Legends Ballroom, followed by preferred seating on the patio for the fireworks show.
