"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" Midnight Show | Dec. 13
The World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater is hosting a midnight show event in advance of the highly anticipated premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." The IMAX Theater will host pre-show activities including a costume contest and Hobbit-themed trivia starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13. The movie will debut at 12:05 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14. Christmas Day Brunch | Dec. 25

New Year's Eve Rockin' Party | Dec. 31
The Renaissance World Golf Village Resort Convention Center and Beach Club is hosting a New Year's Eve party from 7:30 p.m.- 1:30 a.m. The night begins in the atrium lobby with heavy hors d'oeuvres, cooking stations, and food presentations paired with beer and wine stations. Wade Tower will perform from 8-10 p.m. and at 10:30 p.m., the party will move to the resort's grand St. Augustine Ballroom, with entertainment provided at the "Ball Drop Dance Party." The party also will feature live coverage of the New York City ball drop, a champagne toast at midnight, late-night snacks, and a cash bar. Humana Challenge Weekend honoring Bob Hope | Jan. 17-20
The World Golf Hall of Fame is celebrating the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation, formerly the Bob Hope Classic. Guests can enjoy the Hall's "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory" exhibit while watching the tournament in the Bob Hope Theater. Visitors can also participate in a special Bob Hope scavenger hunt in the museum for a chance to win a Humana Challenge Prize pack (no purchase necessary to enter). "Flight of the Butterflies 3D" Opening Night Events | Jan. 18
The World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will celebrate the opening night of the IMAX documentary "Flight of the Butterflies" on Friday, Jan. 18. The evening will include a presentation on butterflies by the University of Florida and the Florida Museum of Natural History and "A Taste of South of the Border" courtesy of the Colorado Burrito Company from 6:30-7 p.m. Visit www.WorldGolfIMAX.com for more information.
"Flight of the Butterflies 3D" Family Day | Jan. 19

Big Game, Big Screen, Big Fun | Feb. 3
Come tailgate in Hall of Fame style! On Super Sunday the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will be offering the big experience on the big screen for free. Seating is limited and online registration is required in advance. Please join us for a pre-game tailgate party at Fairways Cafe (next to the IMAX Theater) with New Orleans-style concessions for purchase, along with frosty beverages to take into the big game. All Fairways tailgaters will receive a wristband for priority seating in the IMAX Theater for the game. The tailgate food & concessions will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. and run until the start of the fourth quarter. (No outside food or beverages allowed).
Presidents Day Weekend at the Hall of Fame | Feb. 15-18
Enjoy learning about Hall of Fame Presidents George H.W. Bush and Dwight D. Eisenhower while taking a special scavenger hunt that enters you to win a special prize. There will also be a photo opportunity with the Presidents Cup trophy. Active and former military receive $10 admission to the Museum and children under 12 are free. World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship | April 12-14
Put your putting skills to the test during the 10th annual World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship. Set on the Hall of Fame's 18-hole, natural grass putting course during the weekend of the Masters, you have a chance to compete for prizes including golf trips, rounds of golf and more. Qualifying days are Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. The top 16 finalists will compete in match play for prizes. All entrants receive a goody bag. Masters Weekend at the Hall of Fame | April 11-14
Masters Week and the 10th annual World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship are the perfect time to visit the Hall of Fame! Enjoy learning about Hall of Fame members who are Masters champions as you take a special scavenger hunt through the Hall of Fame and enjoy a photo opportunity with the Masters trophy. The broadcast will be shown throughout the museum during the week. All residents of Georgia receive free admission with ID. For more information, please visit www.WorldGolfHallofFame.org.
Special Exhibits and Displays at the World Golf Hall of Fame
The World Golf Hall of Fame is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. A round on the 18-hole, natural-grass putting course and a shot at the Challenge Hole are included in museum admission, which is valid for two consecutive days. Adults are $19.50, seniors/military/Florida residents are $18.50, students are $10, and children 5-12 are $5. Children under 5 are free. Discounts are also available to St. Johns County residents. History in the Making
The Hall of Fame's newest exhibit concentrates on golf's most recent events, with memorabilia from professional tournaments, major championships and team events like the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and Presidents Cup. The exhibit also highlights record-breaking performances and other historic moments, and includes memorabilia from Jack Nicklaus, Annika Sorenstam, Tiger Woods, Ian Poulter and Brandt Snedeker.
Class of 2012 Inductee Exhibits
The five newest members of the World Golf Hall of Fame now have their personal memorabilia on display in Shell Hall. Peter Alliss, Dan Jenkins, Sandy Lyle, Phil Mickelson and Hollis Stacy all have their own Inductee Case in Shell Hall and locker in the Member Locker Room. From Phil Mickelson's Masters trophies to Dan Jenkins' typewriter, these Exhibits are full of intimate and historic treasures.
Nancy Lopez: Pride, Passion and Personality
The Hall of Fame's current special member exhibit features one of the LPGA's most successful and charismatic players. The exhibition displays more than 150 pieces of memorabilia from Lopez's electric career. The memorabilia ranges from her first communion veil to her many LPGA Championship trophies. Other highlights are her trophy from the inaugural Solheim Cup and the legendary Ray Cook putter she used to win so many of her 48 LPGA titles. While the exhibit features Lopez's accomplishments on the course, it also shows the honest, engaging and entertaining persona that so deeply connected her to golf fans worldwide.

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey An IMAX 3D Experience" (PG-13)

From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," the first of a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece "The Hobbit," by J.R.R.
