Jacksonville, Fla. (Feb. 25, 2013) -- The ribbon was cut today on a new kiosk at JAX Airport featuring the World Golf Village Associates (WGVA). The WGVA properties include the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum, Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Honours Golf courses Slammer & Squire and King & Bear.

The new kiosk will feature a full-time WGVA staff member on site to serve travelers as they pass through the airport. The staff member will have the ability to book hotel rooms, tee times at both golf courses and Hall of Fame tickets directly from the kiosk, which will also include video and collateral showcasing each WGVA property.

The deal between WGVA and the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) was struck in 2012, and the Jacksonville-based George Doro Fixture Company completed the kiosk's construction.

"The JAA has been an outstanding partner and we are delighted to start this new venture," said Jack Peter, COO of the World Golf Hall of Fame and WGVA President. "This kiosk will give the millions of travelers that pass through the Jacksonville International Airport the chance to learn more and hopefully visit each of the WGVA properties."

The kiosk is located pre-security, in JAX Airport's Central Courtyard area, near the PGA TOUR Shop.
