Inductee Forum and Induction Golf Tournament return to 2013
St. Augustine, Fla. (March 7, 2013) -- Following the success of the 2012 events, the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum will once again kick off its Induction Ceremony weekend with the Inductee Forum and the Induction Golf Tournament. Tickets are available now for the Forum on Sunday, May 5 and the Golf Tournament on Monday, May 6.
The Inductee Forum will feature the living members of the Class of 2013 -- Fred Couples, Colin Montgomerie, Ken Schofield and Ken Venturi -- in a moderated panel discussion that will give guests an intimate view into the lives, careers and stories of the Hall's newest members. In addition to a general admission seat at the Forum, tickets include Museum admission, the opportunity to view the Class of 2013's Inductee Exhibits, and a Class of 2013 commemorative Induction poster. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 on the day of the event and $10 for Friends of the Hall of Fame.
The Induction Golf Tournament will also give participants the opportunity to get close to Hall of Fame members. The event, scheduled for the morning of Monday, May 6, will feature a clinic and other appearances by Hall of Fame members, along with an awards ceremony and a luncheon. The tournament will be a shotgun format on the Slammer & Squire Golf Course at World Golf Village. Players will also receive tickets to the Induction Ceremony and Gala. Singles can reserve their spot for $400 and foursomes for $1,400.
Tickets are still available to the 2013 Induction Ceremony and Gala, held on Monday, May 6, once again kicking off PLAYERS Championship week. The Induction Ceremony will be held at the St. Johns County Convention Center, adjacent to the Hall of Fame and will feature the Class of 2013: Fred Couples, Colin Montgomerie, Willie Park, Jr., Ken Schofield and Ken Venturi. The Gala takes place after the Ceremony within the Hall of Fame.
