The family of World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum Members, staff and volunteers is mourning the loss of Dolores Hope. Dolores was not a Member of the Hall of Fame, but her presence will forever be felt throughout our Museum and the entire golf community.

She formed one of Hollywood's legendary couples with Bob, and we are all thankful for their enthusiastic support of golf during the decades before and after Bob's induction into the Hall of Fame in 1983. Dolores was a philanthropic force in so many areas, including golf. She was essential in the creation of two Bob Hope exhibitions for the Hall of Fame. She was also an honorary member of the LPGA, to which she donated $1 million.

To honor Dolores and her contributions, a special tribute has been created in the Hall of Fame and our volunteers will be wearing black ribbons and Bob Hope pins. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Hope family.
