Tickets on sale for 2012 Induction Ceremony at the
World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum

Mickelson, Lyle, Stacy, Alliss, Jenkins to be enshrined on May 7

St. Augustine, Fla. (Feb. 29, 2012) -- The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum announced tickets are on sale today for the 2012 Induction Ceremony & Gala. The celebration will be held on Monday, May 7 and golf legends Phil Mickelson, Sandy Lyle, Hollis Stacy, Peter Alliss and Dan Jenkins will receive "Golf's Highest Honor."

The Induction Ceremony, which kicks off THE PLAYERS Championship week, begins at 6 p.m. in the St. Johns County Convention Center at World Golf Village. The Ceremony will pay homage to the game's rich, storied history and will feature acceptance speeches by each member of the Class of 2012.

There are several ways for the general public to attend the 2012 Induction Ceremony.

  • The Induction Ceremony & Gala - A limited number of tickets to the Induction Ceremony & Gala are on sale now for $150. The Gala is held in the Hall of Fame immediately following the Ceremony and includes heavy hors d'oeurvres buffets, open bar and an opportunity to rub shoulders with the Class of 2012, members of the Hall of Fame and international golf dignitaries.   • The Induction Ceremony only - While supplies last, the best way to get a seat at the Induction Ceremony is to enroll in the museum's membership program and become a Friend of the Hall of Fame. Friends of the Hall of Fame will have the opportunity to reserve a seat or seats for the Induction Ceremony, with the option to upgrade their ticket to include the Gala.   • Induction Ceremony Golf Tournament - A limited number of foursomes are available in the Induction Ceremony Golf Tournament on the Slammer & Squire Golf Course at World Golf Village on Monday, May 7. The tournament will be a shotgun format and includes continental breakfast, awards luncheon, a gift bag and the opportunity to meet members of the Hall of Fame. Each participant will receive one ticket to the 2012 Induction Ceremony & Gala. Singles are $350 and foursomes are $1,200. For more information, visit www.WorldGolfHallofFame.org.

  • Induction Ceremony overnight packages - Visitors can attend the Induction Ceremony & Gala and stay at World Golf Village. Travel packages include access to VIP seating at the Induction Ceremony and accommodations.
