Lee Trevino claimed his second European Tour victory at the 1985 Dunhill Masters Tournament at Woburn, Massachusetts by defeating Australian golfer Rodger Davis by three strokes.

Throughout the 1960s, Trevino was supported by Faultless Golf Ball out of Ashland, Ohio before he switched to the Rawlings golf ball featuring his “Sombrero” logo.

In response to Arnie’s Army, avid fans of Trevino took the name Lee’s Fleas, as signified by this badge. Trevino said of them, “They may have not known a lot about golf, but we had a good time.”

4. 1971 CANADIAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY

1971 was Lee Trevino’s breakout year with six championship victories including two Majors. Three of those wins came within 23 days of each other. Two weeks before claiming the Canadian Open title, Trevino won the U.S. Open at Merion and, the week following the Canadian Open, he took The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.

In honor of his contributions to golf and to the community of Fort Worth, Texas, Lee Trevino was honored with the official “Keys to the City.”

Claiming his third title of the year, Trevino won the Colonial National Invitation Championship in Fort Worth, Texas by a commanding four shot lead over Jerry Pate and Jerry Heard, earning this gold diamond championship ring.
