World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship | April 17-May 1
Congratulations to the 2010 World Golf Hall of Fame putting champion- James Eschen! Eschen battled through a field of sixteen finalists that included four past champions and matched up against Robert Burns in the finals. The championship match went back and forth with Eschen coming out on top when he equaled Burns on hole number 17 to finish the match off (2 & 1).  Eschen took home the grand prize including tickets to THE PLAYERS, golf rounds on TPC Stadium and Valley course, World Golf Village courses, Palencia, a three day, two night stay at the Renaissance Resort including dinner, a $250.00 gift certificate to the PGA TOUR STOP and a Hall of Fame autographed pin flag.

The field of sixteen was filled by participants who qualified in one of the two qualifying weekends.  Eight individuals secured their spot in the finals the first weekend: James Eschen, Paul Watson, and Dallas Milam all posted a 36, Kevin Reilly and Russell Cooley shot a 37 and Matt Rumble, Jake Nelson, and Whitney Allemand rounded out the top eight- all shooting 38.  The second weekend heated up with 120 people playing the final two days to try and secure one of the remaining eight spots in the finals.  Low score of all four qualifying weekends was shot by Gabriel Barnes who posted a three under 33, followed by Joe Felix with a 35, Juan Gutierez, Bob Weaver, Jim McClellan and Robert Burns all scoring a 37.   The final remaining two spots were filled by David Bailey and Jeff Heinemann who qualified through a play-in the morning of the finals  

All finalists received a Hall of Fame Golf Shirt and a World Golf Hall of Fame Membership. Additional prizes were awarded for the top eight finishers.

2009 Inductee Exhibits
Now open in the museum's Shell Hall are the 2009 Inductee Exhibits.  Featuring the 2009 Class of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Christy O'Connor, José María Olazábal and Lanny Wadkins, the exhibits feature their inspirational stories accompanied by personal and professional memorabilia, awards and treasures they have accumulated over the years. "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory"
The World Golf Hall of Fame is featuring one of golf’s greatest ambassadors in a special exhibition, “Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory,” which tells the story of his life, entertainment career, relationship with U.S. Presidents, and his devotion to the men and women of the military, as well as his lifelong love affair with golf. The exhibit features more than 300 vintage images, 400 artifacts, more than two hours of video, and a unique audio tour that includes comments from Dolores, Linda and  Bob Hope as well as clips from his radio broadcasts and tributes from celebrities and Hall of Fame members.

“Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory” is the Hall of Fame’s showcase member exhibition throughout 2010 and offers the largest collection of Bob Hope memorabilia ever available on public display.
