The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum will celebrate Veterans Day with a special promotion. From Nov. 9-11, veterans and their dependents will receive free admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame. And from Nov. 9-30, all active duty military members and their dependents will also receive free admission. All guests to the Hall of Fame from Nov. 9-11 will be able to enjoy a special scavenger hunt highlighting golf's relationship with the military in the Museum.
History in the Making
The Hall of Fame's newest exhibit concentrates on golf's most recent events, with memorabilia from professional tournaments, major championships and team events like the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and Presidents Cup. It will also highlight record-breaking performances and other historic moments, like Tiger Woods' victory at the 2012 Memorial Tournament.
Nancy Lopez: Pride, Passion & Personality - A special exhibit on display
The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum celebrates one of the true legends in golf history with its latest special exhibition, "Nancy Lopez: Pride Passion & Personality." The special exhibit, which opened December 17, features more than 100 pieces of memorabilia from her electric career, including LPGA Championship trophies, her trophy from the inaugural Solheim Cup and even the legendary Ray Cook putter she used to win so many of her 48 LPGA titles. The exhibit is included with museum admission.
Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory
Trace Bob Hope's life from his immigration from England as a young child through his rise to the top of the century's major forms of entertainment -- vaudeville, Broadway, film, radio and television. Covering more than 3,000 square feet and offering the largest collection of Hope's memorabilia ever available on public display, the exhibition also looks at his devotion to the United States troops and the various ways he championed the game of golf.
