The Best is Yet to Come | Saturday, Sept. 11
Don't miss an evening of song and story about the life of Ol' Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra in "The Best is Yet to Come." Featuring recording artist Tony DeSare and New Your Times "Editor's Choice" author Tom Santopietro, "The Best is Yet to Come" is a FUNdraising event for Caring Hands - Caring Community supporting the programs of BayView Healthcare. Tickets start at $35 for the show only or $60 to enjoy a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour in the Hall of Fame's Bob Hope Exhibit where guests can meet the entertainers. The Golf Channel Am Tour Senior National Championship | Sept. 21-24
Created exclusively for players age 50+, the Senior National Championship offers four days of exciting competition on some of North Florida's most popular and recognizable courses, including World Golf Hall of Fame member-designed courses at World Golf Village and THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, home of the PGA TOUR's THE PLAYERS Championship. Qualifiers from across the country will compete in this 72-hole stroke play championship for a place in Am Tour history and the honor and notoriety of becoming a National Champion. Literary Legends Banquet | Friday, Sept. 24
The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village is hosting the Literary Legends Banquet honoring 2010 Literary Legend Award Winner Carl Hiaasen Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The banquet will feature hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, a Florida-style dinner and silent auction. Early-bird registration is now available through Sept. 10 and is $60 per person. Late registration will be available Sept. 10 - 20 for $75. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Libraries of St. Johns County and the Newspaper in Education program of the St. Augustine Record. 2009 Inductee Exhibits
Now open in the museum's Shell Hall are the 2009 Inductee Exhibits.  Featuring the 2009 Class of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Christy O'Connor, José María Olazábal and Lanny Wadkins, the exhibits feature their inspirational stories accompanied by personal and professional memorabilia, awards and treasures they have accumulated over the years. "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory"
The World Golf Hall of Fame is featuring one of golf’s greatest ambassadors in a special exhibition, “Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory,” which tells the story of his life, entertainment career, relationship with U.S. Presidents, and his devotion to the men and women of the military, as well as his lifelong love affair with golf. The exhibit features more than 300 vintage images, 400 artifacts, more than two hours of video, and a unique audio tour that includes comments from Dolores, Linda and  Bob Hope as well as clips from his radio broadcasts and tributes from celebrities and Hall of Fame members.

“Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory” is the Hall of Fame’s showcase member exhibition through 2010 and offers the largest collection of Bob Hope memorabilia ever available on public display.
