Lonnie "The Hawk" Hawkins is back on the course & makes his Netflix debut on July 16th. To celebrate his big tee-off, Lonnie will be visiting the World Golf Hall of Fame.
There will be fan activations including games, giving fans a chance to win exclusive prizes, photo opportunities, interactions, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play Hawk themed games, have their own magazine cover shoot in bespoke photo setups and more. Lonnie Hawkins will also make an appearance to say hello to his biggest fans.
The event kicks off the Hawk Bus Tour, which will see Lonnie Hawkins traveling along the East Coast making stops in multiple markets with appearances from the man himself.
The event begins at 11 a.m.
The event ends at 3 p.m.
The USGA Experience and World Golf Hall of Fame will be CLOSED in the morning. We will be OPEN from 2 - 4 p.m. for visitors and for the U.S. Open Watch Party.
About the Series: Lonnie Hawkins, 2009's number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he's not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf's new golden boy, know he's through. Join us for an engaging evening celebrating golf history, memorabilia, and collecting with featured guest, Leila "Lee" Dunbar, one of the nation's leading sports memorabilia appraisers, and Mike Trostel, Director of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Lee will share stories from her remarkable career, offer expert insights on the golf memorabilia market (including the surge during the pandemic), notable moments in golf history, and practical advice on how to separate the true treasures from the ordinary in your own collection. Attendees will also enjoy behind-the-scenes tales from Antiques Roadshow.
Bring your Treasures
Attendees are invited to bring up to two sports or golf-related items for complimentary onsite "ballpark" valuations from Lee Dunbar. Items must be dropped off at the World Golf Hall of Fame between 5 and 6 p.m. before the event. Doors open at 5 p.m. Light refreshments and food will be served.
