The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005), directed by Bill Paxton and starring Shia LaBeouf, is an uplifting biographical sports drama based on the true story of the 1913 U.S. Open. It follows Francis Ouimet, a working-class amateur golfer and former caddie from an immigrant family, who overcomes social prejudice and his father's disapproval to compete in the prestigious tournament held at his home course in Brookline, Massachusetts. Facing golf legends like British champion Harry Vardon, Ouimet—paired with his spirited 10-year-old caddie Eddie Lowery—defies the era's elitist barriers with raw talent, determination, and heart, culminating in one of golf's most legendary upsets that helped open the sport to the masses.

Experience a fun, golf-inspired painting night at the World Golf Hall of Fame, surrounded by the game’s greatest legends. Paint the Town instructors will guide you step-by-step as you create your own take-home work of art—no prior painting experience necessary!
$55 / person. Includes a glass of wine (21+ with valid ID), light refreshments, and all painting supplies.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Painting event runs from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Space is limited.
